You’ve heard about the Internet of Things and probably utilize several things that qualify as official members of this expanding group of electronics. The IoT now includes lightbulbs, refrigerators, coffee makers, microwave ovens, baby monitors, security cameras, speakers, televisions, thermostats and more! The item they all have in common is that they are all now available with Wi-Fi connectivity to improve their efficiency and help make your life easier, or so they say. The truth is that the IoT is fantastic and, in many ways, lives up to the hype. However, there is a lot to know about these futuristic conduits and the hazards/perils they can present along with the benefits.
